Seated lateral flexion with exercise band

This exercise is a great example of how Pilates training interfaces strength and stretch oriented exercises. This particular exercise both strengthens and stretches your quadratus lumborum, i.e your back muscles that bend your spine side to side. It's all about balance ya'll.
